Happiness Lies in Hurdles

It was a sunny Monday morning and the time was about 9:20 when I got into the bus and was on course to my office. I was irritated because I was running late to office and there were deadlines to be met. It was just about then when I saw a beautiful lady in a lovely blue top rushing towards the bus.  But by the time she reached near the door of the bus, the driver closed the door. So the bus moved ahead, but just a few yards later the bus stopped as the passengers were watching with mixed feelings. The lady again ran to the bus and knocked the door. The humbled bus driver opened the door and the lady got on in to the bus.  The happiness that I saw on the lady’s face was quintessential but after the struggle she had gone through for those 1o minutes or so it was worth it. Ambiguously, I realized that I was getting late to my job and probably the lady was also getting late for something. Yet I got the bus without any hurdles and the lady also got the bus but with some stumbling blocks. However, the difference was only the happiness that lady had and I hadn't. Thus, if the god is jamming you in your way the only reason is happiness.
